Emspace created the Beanstock campaign and curriculum series for the Nebraska Department of Education Farm to School team. Beanstock celebrates beans and educates students about plant-based proteins and specialty crops with engaging, informative and inspiring lessons and activities for middle and high school students. After gathering feedback, consulting with an accessibility expert, conducting user testing, designing and writing, Emspace launched the new Step Up to Quality website, which had not been redesigned in 10 years. Emspace collaborated with the Omaha Planning Department to develop a bold, inclusive brand for Omaha’s next 25-year comprehensive plan. While one of our team members was on parental leave, we also added the firepower from local freelance graphic designer Jill Rizzo to help us with the creative. The resulting brand, “We Make Omaha,” has successfully brought awareness and energy to the department’s multi-year community engagement process and will continue to serve their team through the finalized plan. Partnering with Front Porch Investments and the City of Omaha, Emspace developed a proactive messaging and media strategy to increase support and minimize misinformation for a significant affordable housing investment opportunity. The strategy resulted in abundant, positive media coverage across all major local outlets and a statewide publication.
Emspace developed an eye-catching template for Park Omaha’s annual report with bold infographics, artful photography and impactful storytelling. The resulting report impressed industry peers, positioning Park Omaha as a leader in innovative parking and mobility practices. Emspace planned, branded and executed a successful communications campaign in support of a capital campaign for one of Nebraska’s oldest K-12 schools, Brownell Talbot. The Building Together campaign supported their campus transformation plan by helping key audiences see the full scope of the project and keeping vital information top-of-mind. Emspace created and implemented a community relations plan to build awareness of a new project, resulting in a world-class athletic stadium at North High School and a brand-new YMCA facility next door. We also branded and promoted the project, achieving nearly 2 million impressions across earned and social media.
Emspace developed a sub-brand for Lauritzen Gardens’ Sofia’s Play Garden, an accessible and intentional play space for families. On a quick-turn timeline, Emspace delivered a brand system with logos and over 45 custom illustrations. Building on prior brand success, Emspace evolved the Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau into Unleash Council Bluffs. The bold identity, rooted in continuity, delivers flexible assets, modern design and ADA-compliant colors.
