We love inviting people to our space for meetings, tours and celebrations. As a part of our commitment to accessibility and inclusion, we’ve officially published an Emspace office access guide for our visitors. 

We hope this guide allows you to feel more comfortable and confident in our office environment. If you are a job candidate with more questions about daily working in our office, we are happy to discuss what accommodations you may need and share more information about our employee-focused spaces. Considering creating a guide for your workspace? We encourage it! While your building’s design may be ADA compliant, there are a variety of unknown factors for visitors who may have a range of temporary or long-term accommodation needs. An access guide gives visitors information in advance to determine if a space works for their needs, and it provides them the opportunity to request accommodations. 

For our office’s access guide, we made sure to use an intentional, updatable format by placing the information in a Google document. This ensures it’s screen reader friendly, searchable and can be easily updated by anyone on our team regardless of design skills. Our access guide’s information is a baseline that we will continue to evolve and grow with feedback from our team and visitors.
