City of Council Bluffs
Emerald Ash Borer
In 2015, the City of Council Bluffs began preparing for the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), a highly destructive, wood-boring insect. We were tasked to communicate the City’s plan to the public. In the first year of the plan, we printed 380 door hangers to inform residents their ash tree would be treated or removed. Our press release received impressive coverage after it was picked up by the AP. Since its launch, more than 1,200 unique users have visited the EAB website with an average session duration of more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds to read about the City’s plan.
