Baxter Auto Group
A family-owned and locally-operated dealership group, Baxter Auto has partnered with us throughout the years on special event planning, public relations and marketing projects for three of its locations.
Lexus of Omaha
When Lexus of Omaha needed to move nearly 500 cars from its temporary location at 120th and Dodge to its new building a half-mile up the road in February 2014, we helped create buzz for the event through earned media. The procession was led by a “pace car” decked out with a giant red bow driven by Baxter’s president, and followed by employees and volunteers — receiving publicity from local television and the Omaha World-Herald.
We also helped plan the grand opening of Lexus of Omaha’s new building later in May 2014. Over 1,000 of Lexus’ customers and dignitaries attended, including Mayor Jean Stothert, former Nebraska football coach Tom Osborne and current Creighton basketball coach Greg McDermott. The event featured tours of the facility and a presentation of a ceremonial Kabuto helmet, part of the traditional armor used by Japanese warriors until the 17th century. Hardcover presentation books were later designed to showcase the event and the new dealership’s green architectural features to a corporate meeting in Japan.
Lexus of Lincoln + Baxter Toyota Lincoln
In 2017, Lexus of Lincoln and Baxter Toyota Lincoln celebrated the opening of their new facilities with an event drawing more than 1,500 customers between the two dealerships. Governor Pete Ricketts spoke at the event, and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony. Prior to the opening, we helped organize a “Massive Test Drive” event where volunteers moved an estimated 500 cars across town from the old Baxter Toyota Lincoln to the new location. The event donated $10 to the Team Jack Foundation for each volunteer who participated.
